This tiny Mexican marvel—native to the rocky limestone hills of Hidalgo and Querétaro—is a serious collector's favorite, instantly recognizable by its wild, shaggy mane of long, flexible, white to creamy spines that curve and twist in every direction, giving it a delightfully "messy" personality that stands out in any collection.
Despite its chaotic appearance, it produces surprisingly exquisite, delicate pink to magenta flowers with a pale white throat that emerge from the woolly crown in spring and summer, creating a breathtaking contrast against its woolly, dark green body.

Our plants are shipped in pots and a soil-less mix designated for the species. Using the appropriate soil is critical for healthy root function, moisture management, and overall plant resilience, giving you the best chance for success.
Standard shipping: Plants will arrive in 5-7 business days. 
Priority shipping: Plants will arrive in 2-5 business days.
Winter Shipping (Recommended for Frost-Tender Plants): To protect plants from cold during transit, we highly recommend adding a 72-hour heat pack and Priority shipping. (Please contact us if you need assistance).
Weather Delays: We reserve the right to postpone shipping during inclement weather to ensure plant safety. You will be notified if your shipment is delayed.
Shipping Destinations: We currently ship within the USA only.

- Plant Damaged in Transit or loss of package? Contact us immediately (within 24 hours of delivery) with photos. We will help you to file a claim.
